Concorod River In Mass

Featured Replies

Has anyone ever fished the Concord River that runs through Billerica, ma?  Have any luck there?  What did you use?  I've never fished a freshwater river before. I'm usually in a pond or Lake, but since its 1 minute from my house I would like to try and pull some Bass or Pike out of there.  The water is really high and stained right now and I tossed out a black spinner bait and a black senko from shore but no luck.  I plan on taking the canoe down there this year when the water levels drop a little.  Seems like it would be tough to fish right now since the waters are so high.  But I could be wrong. Any info would be much appreciated…Thanks!

I have 2 friends who fish Concord and have pulled out some really nice size bass and trout. They both fish other bodies of water, but really enjoy that river. I have yet made my way up there to fish it.

If you decide to go I would not recommend canoe for a while. River running pretty go I would guess. Unless you want a good workout. Be careful.

Maybe try a white spinnerbait or a heavy jig with a Rage Craw trailer.
