I got my cardiff today and for the spooling i got a couple questions. Ive seen some vids where they thread the line thru the reel tie an over hand knot,  then do the same thing infront of the level wind. whih some how the knots tighten each other and your good to go. any ideas/?

thanks !this is what i normally use but wasn't sure if there was something special you had to use.

Any tight knot is fine, as long as it doesn't spin around the spool, even with conventional reel and mono line I still tape it first.

thanks i taped it and tied the arbor knot spoiled it , and i was jus cast that thing , man oh man you can loab cast forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
