Featured Replies

What is your fav hollow froggy?

I can find a fav between the koppers, bronze eye and pad crasher lol

I like Paycheck baits popper versions of frogs

Spro 65 in Killer Gill, The Killer, and Nasty Shad.  Casts great, walks nice, and I love the hooks.  Tom

Mine is the Pad Crasher. It looks and works just as well as the Spro's (even walks better) and is cheaper. Definitely my fav.

The first frog I tie on is always a green pepper Scum Frog.

It's not mentioned much here, but I just love that little thing.

Spro Bronzeye 65 is the one I'd choose if I were forced to only use one, Killer Gill and Outback are my two favorite colors. I also enjoy the Jr size.

Their new Bronzeye Shad has been excellent as well.

R2S Spittin' Wa 70's are really good for a different type of presentation as well as a better average quality of bite due to its larger size. I'm not really a fan of the 55 size of this bait, doesn't walk nearly as well in my opinion. Their Bully Wa frogs are good quality baits and walk easily also.

I like the Booyah Pad Crasher....both the regular and jr. size. Have not tried the popping one yet. I also like the SK KVD frog. I haven't owned a Spro frog for a few years now, and my frog success rate has not suffered.

Spro Bronzeye.

I have two large boxes of frogs and mice - one box of furbits - the furbits are used 90% of the time.

I like the pad crashers and poppin pad crashers

I am a fan of the Booyah frogs. They are cheap and catch tons of fish. Plus, my local Dicks Sporting Goods always has a huge variety of them in different colors/styles.

^^ yep just picked a few pad crashers at dicks the other day!

Converted from Spro to Pad Crashers. Booyah last much longer, work just as well and are less expensive.

Teckel USA Whacker Frogs.

I see all these posts about Spro frogs not lasting, I'm not sure what these guys are doing to these frogs but mine hold up just fine. I bet I've caught around 40 fish on just this frog alone and it's still perfectly fishable.

Pad Crashers, Koppers Livetarget and I also like the Evolve Nervous Walker. A lot of people don't like the Nervous Walker though.
