Table Rock Lake On May 10Th

Featured Replies

I have been a member of a small bass club for over a year now. I have learned a lot about fishing from the guys. However I have never finished better than 3rd. I would like to have a good showing on our yearly road trip. On May 10th we will be fishing Table Rock lake. Does anyone have any advice for me? What should I throw? Any advice will be helpful.

Where are you going out of? Lots of fish on beds right now all over the lake and probably will still be by then.

I am not sure I will find out today.

A lot of fish being caught on Biffle Bug rigs, light carolina rigs with french fries or fish doctors, and a spinnerbait if the wind blows. Some topwater fish being caught early on the Fin. Secondary points and small pockets are good places to look, especially if there's some brush in the water.

Every bedding fish is different but craw and beaver baits are usually a good starting point.

We had over 40 the other day with a lot of keepers.. most of them on a shakey head and a few on the fin . But the fin bite should only get better..we saw fish on the beds but the bite was so good there was no sense in wasting time on them. That too may change.
