Led Lights For Night Fishing

Featured Replies

What is the best setup for night fishing?

i have bluewater leds and love them. green on the decks. white in the livewell, compartments and on the trailer.

red is supposed to not mess with your night vision, but i always felt like i was struggling to see with red flashlights.

i went with green as it is the easiest color for your eyes to see(why nightvision goggles are green).

white in the compartments helps you see colors. i put them on the lids so i can leave the hatch open and tie up under them.

Are you asking about bow and stern lights?

I have blue all around my deck wired with a remote. Turn them down as low as they will go its perfect. Turn them on high and make them blink you can partttayyy!!

The only light I use when night fishing are the NAV lights. I use a hat mounted UV led light when tying knots. The UV really makes the line glow and not flood the area with light. I like it as dark as possible when night fishing. Keeps the bugs down and keeps my night vision sharp.

There are also UV lights that mount in the rubrail, and submersible UV lights that can be permanently or temporarily mounted to the boat to attract fish as well as illuminate your line.
