Night Surface Lures

I don't fish topwaters at night, mainly because I hate trying to dodge baits that I can't see  :dazed-7:   Actually I've started to fish a Slammer at night once in awhile, mainly because they don't go airborne if I swing and miss a fish like other topwaters do. Plus fish rarely seem to miss them.

In this order

1 - 3/8 oz. Boogerrman  Racket Buzz or 1/2 oz. Boogerman Magnum Racket Buzz

2 - Black Ribbit or Rage Frog (whenever there is a lot of surface vegetation)

3 - 5/8 oz. Black Jointed Jitterbug

Really loved a black jitterbug when I was a kid

But I still at night wanna work a big ole spinnerbait right along the bottom.. Or a football

Jig w/ bulky round bodied trailer... Or 7" strait tail

Sorry.... I just don't topwater at night now

Nothing sounds so sweet as a jitterbug on the retrieve.!!!!
