Has anyone ever used these? Let alone caught fish on them? I bought about 50 off of a seller on eBay a while back. I haven't used them because I don't want to waste my time. They look promising, but they don't feel very dense. I've casted them a couple of times just to see what they weighed compared to a Yamamoto Senko, and they felt pretty light though they're the same 5" size.

What I don´t understand is why you say you don´t want to waste your time if you haven´t tried them, there´s a bunch of guys pouring baits and 99% of them work and many times there are guys pouring even better baits selling them for a fraction of the cost.

Likely, you purchased baits that the seller made himself. A lighter baits translates to less salt in the mix which means they will take longer to sink. Both these factors can be both positive and negative when it comes to catching, so the only way to find out is to fish them. I prefer a bait will less salt when T-rigging or drop shotting and a heavier bait when wacky rigging. 

Not trying them out will only result in your wasting money and I assume the reason you purchased them was to save it.  The best soft plastic bait I ever used was poured by a fellow in his garage. I got them for a song.  Now his company sells thousands and they are no where near as cheap.

Usually Knockoff Sticks are a little different in size. Length or thickness.

 

Many times not as soft and wont sink as fast (less salt)

 

Needless to say they will still work fine and usually are more durable 

 

If lighter and dont sink as fast they may be better for very shallow water in the spring. Save the heavier sticks for working a lil deeper.
