I want to expand my soft plastic sinker arsenal beyond led bullet sinkers and toothpicks but I'm not sure which are best.  I've looked at the screw in type sinkers and the tungsten sinkers and thought about useing those rubber pegging strips and can't decide.  What do you guys like and think would be best?

Both of them work great.  It's a take your pick kind of a deal.  The peg-its will hold the sinker a bit tighter if you really pull them through the sinker.

I went thru toothpicks (couldn't get them to stay snug),  the rubber peg-it strips (had a horrible time getting them threaded through the weights), and the screw-in sinkers (never did like those at all).  I finally settled on the rubber bobber stops like the Danielson product mentioned above.  You can find those in a lot of tackle shops under various brands.  I get them locally with the Eagle Claw name on the package.  They work very nicely.

Parasite weights aren't a bad option

I use toothpicks. It is cheap and i have had no prpblems with it.

I've bought a couple of packs of tungsten weights and the peg its.  I'll experiment with the other things too, bobber stops seem like they would work well too.  Thanks!

Here is another question, do you prefer to peg the weight to the bait, or do you put the peg a few inches up the line and let it slide back and forth or do you put on a stopper then the weight then another stopper so you can keep the weight in one place?
