Why not get your scale certified then you will know if it is measuring light or not...also, just curious but how did you confirm it was weighing light?

I guess I have looked much, but I rarely see Elities use a scale..... they use balance beams from what I seen.

if you are looking for a scale, check out the Rapala tournment scale. I use it and like it...and can save 10 fish in the "bins" pretty cool and accurate.

Xtool digital about $100

It is the Xtool. I have it and it works good. The rest of their stuff is junk. When in a tournament I use a balance beam more then anything. The scales will give you the final weight at the end of the day. The only thing I care during the day is I keep the heaviest fish.

The Rapala is a good scale and the Xtools is also.  I use the Rapala and have an Xtools for a spare.  The Xtools culling tags are ok if you switch the attachment piece to a safety pin style.

I dont have my own culling beam but most of my boaters do. I like having the scale for a personal best reference.  My club has a certified digital scale and ive weighed fish on the boga and then that and the boat was a little light.
