Now that I think about it, when I was about 12 years I fished with Bobbie Layne the Detroit Lions QB.  He owned a business down the street from my dad's, they were friendly.  The only thing I remember was a case of beer on the front seat of his Cadillac and another case of beer in his boat, don't recall ever seeing him without a bottle in one hand.

Saw a video of Rob Ford salmon fishing...

I'll go fishing with Miranda Lambert anytime she wants!

Bo knows fishing!

Ted Williams. I remember hearing that he's in the fly fishing hall of fame(if there really is one). I'm willing to venture a guess that his 15\10 vision sure helped.

I know a old timer that guided him once on the Sagris River in Panama.  He said Williams would point animals out deep in the jungle shoreline no once else could see.   That same day he guided Joe Brooks, said he was the most amazing caster he'd ever seen.

Jimmy Carter.

I've met him once, at a rest stop in Virginia when I was just a small kid. The Secret Service snatched my mom's camera when she tried to take a picture of him on the sidewalk. She started to cry and Carter's wife admonished the agent right there in front of everyone. I was allowed to pose with both Jimmy and his wife for pics after that. Pretty cool childhood memory.

He also frequented a certain stream in PA, not sure if he still does or not. He was/is an avid flyfisherman.

Kent Hrbek formerly of the Minnesota Twins is still an avid fisherman. Bobby Knight has been on several fishing shows and I've heard he loves to fish.

Tom Brokaw, Huey Lewis, and Michael Keaton are very avid saltwater fly anglers

They donate a good bit the bonefish and tarpon trust

Oh and i used to see Wade Boggs fishing the flats of tampa bay on occasion when i lived there

The Chicago Blackhawks Bryan Bickell....He was even on Facts of Fishing.

Michael Chang the the tennis player is supposedly a bass fisherman.

Eric Clapton is an avid outdoorsman.

Pretty sure Les Claypool from the band Primus is a fisherman.

Dean Ween from the band Ween does fishing charters.

Those guys are probably not very famous to most people though.
