How many times have you ever been fishing, break out a new lure and just have a fantastic day. And like Bigbill does, you run out the next day or sooner to stock up on this hot bait and never have any luck with it again. I have done it a few times. Oh well, live and never learn.

I have maybe 30 bags of soft plastic worms I specifically purchased for fishing several lakes at Tamaulipas ( El Sombrerito, San Lorenzo, Las Blancas, Guerrero ), the catch here is .......I haven´t been to any of those lakes in more than a decade.

I have about a dozen walleye crankbaits.  These will probably hold me over for a couple of centuries since there are only a very small handful of lakes within driving distance which actually hold walleye.  When I actually do go to Canada I usually wind up chasing smallmouth or pike.  Still, they're pretty.

I'm saying....how do you know you'll never catch fish with it again. Never say never. I've had lures become "relevant" in my tackle box after years of being ignored.

Have had that happen. Which reminds me, I'm going to have to break out my old black jitterbug. Used to catch a lot of bass on that thing.

Last summer I absolutely killed bass with senkos. I went out and bought quite a few packs of the BPS brand senkos, probably more than needed at the time, and this year have yet to catch a bass on a senko.

These are the "Senko" of hard baits.
