Hey i've been interested in using a topwater snake lure like the one on bassprofessor.com but they make you buy a whole package thats 40 dollars and all i want is one snake. Suggestions please

Rage Tail Anaconda or Recon worms!

Down in south Louisiana we fish a Texas rigged worm like a frog, buzz it through grass dropping in holes.

This rig is DEADLY in North Louisiana during the summer.  I always have one tied on from mid June through September.  Very popular lure in this region but virtually unknown anywhere else.

Looks like my post got deleted, I originally also said to check out big baits... Many lakes around here have eels and small snakes and boy the snake lures get destroyed around weeds/stumps!

The Wobble Head is the best.  Just plain old black hardware with your choice of worm color.

bass pro makes a 16" worm, you can find them on ebay with ledge worms at times.
