New To The Forum

Featured Replies

Hi, everyone.  I'm new to the forum, so I thought I'd report in.  I'm from East Central Illinois.  I've been an avid catfisher for many years, on just about every river and small pond I can get to.  Lately, I've been thinking about giving the catfish a break and chasing some largemouth bass.  So far, my experience is pretty limited - I've caught some decent fish on spinner baits and curlytail grubs, but that's the extent of my knowledge of lures.

On the local lake, I can generally go out at any time of the day, and catch catfish.  I guess my goal would be to eventually learn enough about bass and bass baits to be able to do the same.  I may not post much at first - I have a lot of reading to do, to get caught up - but I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions for y'all in the near future.
