Power Pro makes a hi vis yellow braid. Then just take a green sharpie and color the last 6ft of it to blend in a bit better.

  Power pro yellow is excellent for visibility (line watching).  Tie a fluorocarbon leader onto the end of the line.  There is no problem with the leader, as long as you pay attention to the knot, and don't do it sloppy, you will be okay.  The fluoro leader allows you to break off, although it is difficult, it is possible.  I usually use a 12lb down to 6lb fluoro leader depending on the circumstances in my area.  If I was doing a lot of flipping into heavy cover, I would obviously use a heavier leader, but 12lb is perfect all around.

I have PP yellow on 2 reels, just like the way it looked on my Penn conquer and Dicks had no green in stock when I spooled up my cabo.  Never had a bleeding problem and didn't notice the fade until I put it next to new line.  I don't line watch and I always use a leader.

I use the yellow with a leader for my wacky rig. My old eyes can pick up even the slightest line movement way before I feel it.

All braid fades or bleeds. Some more than others. I'm using pp high vjs yellow for my Senko set up, couldn't be happie. So much easier to line watch and I use a yellow sharpie to freshen it up.

The natural color of the superline is white and it can't be tinted.

Any color is a coating that will wear off with use.

Some brands "bleed" faster than others.

PowerPro yellow, as mentioned by others, is great. It does fade over time, but bleeding is minimum, if even at all. A few years ago I tried red PP, and man did that bleed! Not so with yellow.

Be sure to magic marker the line or the leader. I read somewhere that yellow is the color bass see the best.

I use the power pro hi vis yellow for my frogging setup, the line literally floats ontop of the pads and dense weeds, so one it doesn't get caught as easy and two easy to watch

Sunline SX1 they just came out with a high vis yellow that doesn't bleed and has barely if at all has faded over 3 months of use. Power Pro comes in a close 2nd.

I never got the issue with bleeding. Yes, the line loses it's color a bit but it's not like the bled color causes any issues. Just rinse it off and go. And after a few months, just reverse the braid on your spool for fresh line with fresh color.

The fastest superline for loosing its color that I used in the past few years is Ohero in the multi-color.

I got some to test for a three day trip to St.Clair and the color was mostly gone after those three days--couldn't even tell it had different colors.

I appreciate you're post.... I now believe that white may just make the most sence ... I suppose I believed yellow for line watching would make the choice easier.. I have been leaning toward white... It's pretty bright... I don't know if it will dirty up or not... Looks like a on the water shoot out !

I've been using yellow power pro for years now, I love it . No bleeding problems .

For even more visibility of line movement (watching) is to color half the line on the spool with a black marker, the slightest twitch of line , you'll see it move better.

I've been curious about the white. No local shops carry it around here. Was interesting to read Gary Yamamoto started switching from white PP to yellow a while back for better visibility....

yeah, everyone is different. i've found that the yellow actually blends in with the tules i fish in the california delta. i have a ginornous bulk spool of the yellow too...i should contact GY and see if he wants to swap
