Fishing Fanatic From Md

Featured Replies

Hello All,

Like my many other hobbies I decided that it was time to join a forum to get my information and questions answered. I recently moved into a community in Maryland and my property backs up to a lake.

As a child I fished regularly. Rod, line, hook, bobber, split shot, and some live worms. Nothing more. I enjoyed it, but never loved it. As I entered into high school and college, fishing exited my life entirely.

Naturally, this is how I fished when I moved here and started fishing again. Although boring to my standards now, I loved being able to cast out, and within seconds get a hit......another Bluegill. Again, it was fun, but it was when I caught my first large mouth that my appetite to catch more grew.

Now, I fish almost 5 times a week, and employ many different types of lures; cranks, soft baits (love the senkos), and more. I am in desperate need of people with the experience and knowledge to help me become a better angler, especially as I seek to catch larger and larger bass.

So again, I look forward to asking you all my questions, as I have many.

Phin phan, eh? So that'd be Miami DolPHINs, huh?

Well, welcome to the forums, but the Bills will "squish the fish!"

That is correct. I am loyal but cursed to be a Dolphin fan.

LOL

Then we are both cursed. We lost 4 Super Bowls in a row, and have the longest playoff drought to boot!

This year it ends.

<I hope><fingers crossed>
