I know alot of people on this forum like Strike King products, so I am wondering how many of you use the rodent? Also, which do you find more effective  the rodent or baby rodent? Which colors do you typically use? Thanks for the help.

They both work great...just jike most beaver styles

I like baby when the fish are pressured and in colder water

Black and blue, pumpkin, and watermelon are my usual colors

I use rodents, ri sweet beavers and missile d bombs qiite often...im dieing to get my hands on the rage bug

The rodent is basically a "beaver" styled creature bait. They all work great. I use full size beavers quite a bit for LM's and I fish them on a 1/8 oz. weighted swimbait hook. Keeps the bait falling horizontally instead of falling nose first. Maybe it doesn't matter much, but I feel it may. Almost any color will catch bass, so it's not something I concern myself with. The smaller sizes of this style of bait work fine on smallies on shakey head jigs, but for dense cover and when fishing for LM's I go full size.

They work fine, no better or worse than any other beaver type bait on the market. There one downfall is price and durability. You only get 6 for $4.99 as opposed to 10 Reaction innovation beavers for the same money, or 8 Havoc Pit bosses for $2.99.... Both of which are just as good. And as I also stated, the Rodents are super fragile, I have torn baits up just flipping and punching them in cover. If I have to change a bait before I even get at least one fish on it...... It's not for me. Especially when other stuff, that's cheaper works just as well...... All imho of course.

I use both. Probably the baby more than the full size. Not sure why. I just really like it on a small profile jig.

I like the Rodent's and will buy them when they're on sale.  As mentioned, they are kind of expensive at regular retail price.

One of my favorite baits. I fish both sizes. I have used them T-Rigged, as jig trailer, and even weightless. They are great baits with that famed coffee scent. I could care less about durability if they are catching fish. The Missle bait D-Bomb and RI Beaver are also very good with better durability. The rodent is more dense and tends to cast better for me.

I have a pack of them, the watermelon with red flake but I have yet to catch anything on one.  They imitate a crawfish I imagine and I have one rigged up on a matching jig and have also used them texas rigged weightless.  So far the bass haven't given them a second glance where I fish.

Rodents are a staple in my flippin box. Love them. I use both sizes fairly regularly.

Rodents are like Senkos...they work like magic, but you can get cheaper versions that work at least as well, and don't rip as often.
