Hack Attack Swim Jig

Can anyone give me some insight on how to rig this up with a KVD perfect plastic shad?

I am unsure what to do with the little metal thing under the hook.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

That's a bait keep. Keeps the trailer from rolling or sliding.

Does the bait go over it or in-between it?

It goes under the bait and presses up into the body of the bait to help hold the bait in place.

Awesome thank you!

they are weak and will break quickly if you replace the trailer often. I just break them off and use glue but thats just me.

Thread the bait on the hook, and push the nose of the bait right over the wire....... Trust me.

Stick a Rage Tail Menace or a Rage Grub on your swim jig. Havoc Subwoofers are money too.

This is the proper way to use those wire keepers.
