My Best Fishing Partner

She outfishes me almost every time out, but won't admit that my great guide service is the reason.

That's the way to get er done.

That's great that you guys have that in common. My wife will go with me sometimes but I know it's not her thing.

That's awesome!

I've gotta figure out a way to get my wife out there with me for more than 30 minutes. :)

One of my favorite pictures of my wife.

We were fishing a Bassresource KC area get together as a team when she caught her PB smallmouth that weighed 3.96 pounds on a tiny Luck E Strike crankbait with a light action rod and 6lb test. It fought forever and jumped so many times I never thought we'd get that fish in the boat. She was so excited and happy to catch it she spent the next 10 minutes calling everyone and sending pictures to them.

Mine would be my 13 year old dog. She never complains, enjoys my singing and is always ready to get on the water. I haven't been taking her when it's hot now she's old but early morning and late evening trips she'll be in the boat.

My wife recently started fishing with me. Here's a pic of her first LMB caught with a t-riggged purple worm (her favorite color).

Way to go OP!  Been teaching the gf a few things lately as well, she is a total beginner but learning fast.  This is a shot of her PB last summer.

My wife doesn't fish at all, and she has no desire to start. Probably works out better for me. We have 4 kids at home. If she loved fishing, it would be hard for me to say; "See you later honey! I'm going to be out fishing all day while your here with the children."  Not sure that would go over well. As it is, I think she's happy for me to get out of the house and out of her way once in a while.
