Snake Lures

Featured Replies

Has anybody tried these things?! I'm itching to know if they really work! Let me know, and what do you guys think about them?

In practical terms, anything will work if the conditions are right , the important thing is not if it will work but if it will work consistenly. These kind of lures ( TV lures ) are not a gimmick , they will work but I wouldn´t put my money on them.

I´ve caught fish with a "Walking Worm", "Helicoper Lure", and  the "Flying Lure ", I´ve never actually purchase a "Banjo Minnow" but I bet I can catch fish with them too.

Received quite a few of the original fishing snakes as a gift a few years ago. I find myself using a frog more often because it casts so well, but these lures do work and the hook up ratio is excellent, I've never missed a fish

In the lake I normally fish, I often see small water snakes (8" to 15" or so), swimming about wood & weed cover in 3 to 7 feet of water.   I've never seen a fish blow up on one.  Don't know why.  I've seen fish hit a baby duck (both in the movie Bigmouth and in person) but I've never seen a fish hit a swimming snake.  For me, a snake imitating lure wouldn't be my first, second, third or fourth choice.
