Use topwater in the am,by 1030 they are deep and it starts to get really warm out. Already on the low one hundreds.

Idk about your specific lake but square bills are always killer shallow!

Some not so expensive brands I like are

KVD 1.5's

H20 CRS

Bomber square A's

Deep cranking with shad colored cranks once the sun is up. Try a 3XD or 5XD in Blue Gizzard Shad or Green Gizzard shad. Early morning go with a chrome shad skitterpop and a clear or wounded shad super spook jr.

Mead is a very clear lake and I'm assuming you're going to want to get deep. 6XD in clear sexy shad, green gizzard shad or a Spro DD in Spook Nasty or Spooky Shad would be some baits I'd try.

Crank baits have never been a good choice at lake Mead, better off with jerk baits like LC Pointer 98 & 110 in Ghost shad. US open coming up in Sept!
