I know that very few people can answer me

I like them! The rudra is the bigger version of the asura and they are very good shallow running jerkbaits. (comparable with lucky craft etc.)

I believe you can get them in floating and suspending versions. You should also try the OSP HPF Crank 63. Very good shallow running crank. OSP has very good hardware on their lures.

I have a couple Asura minnows and do not care for them much? They blow out to easy and run on their side if jerked hard. Try the Team Daiwa 1091 minnow if you are looking for high end jerkbaits beside LC.

That's the idea! Irregular action bring bites! :)

Also try tuning your lures!

LOL

Anyway , I am amazed that the small lure has 3hooks .

Anyone's else opinion?

On the Asura i would replace the front and tail treble with a bigger one. You can leave out the middle hook then 2 are enough.

Another suggestion is the HMKL K-1 Hime Minnow.

thanks daniel

what hooks do u use for ur jerkbaits?

owner st?

  • Super User

I use mostly Owner ST-36 but i also like Daiichi hooks.

Most japanese lures have very good quality hooks as you know but some are on the small side.

When they run completely on their side when jerked it is not right? And yes Beavis I do tune my lures but all 3 do the exact same thing. What are the odds I bought 3 bad baits?
