Prespawn Lipless Crankbait

Alright, maybe not a great title, but I have 2 lipless cranks that got kind of baked in the sun and has had the sides expand on them. Kind of looks like their ready to produce baby traps or in this case RES'. Anyway, I was thinking of taking them out for a fish to see what they would do, anyone ever fish these caviar filled type of baits?

Call Strike King. They'll replace them for you.

Talk about changing the action of the lure, wow! It still casted and ran with a nose down attitude like a lipless crank, but the really nice benefit to this caviar filled bait: on a slow retrieve it swam like a lipped crank with a wide wobble and a little hunt to it, if you sped it up, it ran like a lipless crank with a tight wiggle and pulsating vibrations.

Three bass in the first 10 casts, all on a slow retrieve. Man, now I gotta start experimenting with steamiing a couple of baits, because the action on that bait is way too awesome!
