1000 Islands Help

Featured Replies

Hey guys fishing a FLW tournament September 6th & 7th. Never fished 1000 Islands/St Lawrence River in NY/Canada before. I am fishing as a coangler. Looking for some info on what to expect at this time of year? What type of stlye of fhsing should I be looking forward too? What time of lures and bait should I be planning to use?

Any info would be great. Thank you.

You could be doing anything from working pads in pockets, to weed lines, to structure more than 40' deep. It'll be up to your boater, so be prepared. I know I'd be looking for brown fish in the deep water. Not because I think that would win, but it's what I like.
