So I caught this little guy in a small reservoir in CO. I'm a new angler and new to fish ID. However, my research is telling me this is a spotted bass. What do y'all think? Is this a spotted bass?

    I just couldn't tell if his jaw extended past his eye or not. It doesn't seem like it does to me but what do I know.. Haha
