May have to take a trip to cabelas or bass pro to see them all side by side before deciding on one

    The ci4+ is lighter than the fj but not quite as smooth in my opinion. Ive fished with both because my friend owns both but i havent fished either long term

    I like the FJ better than the CI4, and I like the CI4+ better than the FJ.

    I have 2 I got one on EBay that was broken and missing parts. I sent it in and asked if they could fix it for me.

    They sent me a new one for FREE!

    Had a similar experience with a Supreme MGX recently. The sideplate screws had worked loose without me knowing and ended up with damaging the internals of the reel on a hookset. Sent it in with an explanation of what happened. Less than a week there was a brand new Supreme XT in the mailbox! Not only replaced it but upgraded it!

    Pure fishing is like that.  I've sent $150 reels in for a basic cleaning and have gotten new reels back.  Doesn't make me wonder how much these reels really cost to make, not near what one might think.

    I was involved with a manufacturing co, $10 msrp item cost about 50 cents to make.

    Well nobody around had any of these models to look at, so I went with a gut feeling & ordered the ci4+ in the 3000 series

    I prefer the 2500, because it has more than enough capacity. The 3000 is a fantastic reel as well; especially if you got a good deal.

    Okuma makes some good spinning reels. I have one of the cheaper models & it has never let me down. Its about 3 years old & still going strong.

    Ditto I been using the okuma expoitor and the fin-nor spinning reels for quite a few years now. I been also using the viva and globe spinning reels too. There popular in Russia and the land down under. The viva has been on my worm rod for over a decade now. But I buy more okuma spinning reels I probably own more of each side.
