Real Slow Bite

Featured Replies

now that summer is over and falls upon us, the bite is gonna start to decrease slowly but surely , now what are your tactics and ways for the rest of the year for your fishing ? this wouldn't apply to warm climate regions , just where you'd get colder weather. finish your season ok?

i think fair for me, some top water lure's and worm apps.

For me, the jig bite is still on. Some tubes, finesse worms, float & fly (if your into bobber fishing), jerk baits, A-rig, & swim baits (big ones - 6" to 10")

Area, N.Cal, lake levels 1500' to 4000' elev.

Drag a jig sloooow!!!!!

Hoping the lipless crankbait bite will turn on soon. It's still pretty hot here in Indiana

When the water temperatures start to fall the bass will feed to fatten up for the winter.

So fall is still a great time to hit the water for bass.

Go out and let the bass tell you what they want to eat and have some fun.

Ive always found the fall bite to be easier and better than the summer bite

Those bass are gettin fat for winter and they usually wanna eat quite often imo

I love a jerkbait, lipless crank, jig and a frog.

Hmmm, bite gets way better in the fall and early winter around here, and we get more winter weather than I really care for every year. Only thing that changes is the topwaters get put away around late November/early December and the jerkbaits will come out probably late this month.
