What Is A Good Flurocarbon For The Money??

Featured Replies

If I were the OP, I'd get some cheap fluoro if he's never fished with it. The first good backlash and it's toast. Best to learn on something that's cheap like Red Label until he gets used to it so he's not tossing $ in the trash.

Sniper will serve you well. Best fluorocarbon for the money hands down imo.

Sunline Sniper is the best fluorocarbon for the money IMO. Back your reel with braid and you can easily fill two reels up with one spool.

Agreed. Sniper is a great flouro. I would go at least 14 lb test. 16 lb is more versatile though. Especially with c-rigs.

Seagur Invisix would be my choice. Not overly expensive and a very good line.

Silverthread is a good fluorocarbon line for a great price.
