What size do you guys use to replace the cheapos on the Jitter Bug or Poppen frog

For the jitterbug, #6 for 3/8 oz. and #4 for 5/8 oz.

Yeah, the jitterbug 600 is 2 1/2 inches and 3/8 oz. and the jitterbug 650 is 3 inches and 5/8 oz.

Oh and BTW add a split ring to the stock hook mount then attach your hook to the split ring, It helps a lot IMO

 

There are Magnum 4 1/2" and Musky 6" sizes, plus jointed models, FYI

does anyone else have problems with rust in the hook hangers? Mine get pretty nasty after fishing them for just an hour or two. None of my other baits do this except for the Hula Popper and Jitterbug
