Well fall isn't too far away and the lipless cranks are about to be back in their prime, doesn't mean they aren't working yet though! Caught a good bit of bass on the H2O lipless cranks today!

Nice fish,,,,,How the heck do you throw lipless cranks with all those weeds.

Well to my left it was alittle more clear, the grass was about a foot below the surface with some little matted patches, I was just throwing it over and around the weeds and ripping it out when it got clogged up.

You can see the type of weeds I was fishing underwater in the bottom left

Ya Buddy! When that water gets down into the low 60's and high 50's, the red craw trap will be one of my starters every time.

Well 60° water is pretty far away for us in south GA, but it seems like the cooler the water gets the better the lipless bite gets!

The water temperature dropped a little from the weather so I figured I'd try lipless this morning

I may have to get down to valdosta one of these days, Where your fishing looks unreal.

Nice fish. Our water is still in the low to mid 80's, got a little while still. Squarebills have suddenly started working though.

Nice fish CNG!

Im not too terribly far from you . Tallahassee. Looks like the same kind of water I fish. Lol.

Wtg!

I can't wait till the water cools here. On Douglas Lake the squarebill bite is on, but the water is still in the 80s. We have some cooler weather heading our way in the next few days though, so that's encouraging that the bite will be on soon. Chili Craw Red Eye Shad and Chartreuse Baitfish rake them in for me.

I'd enjoy that!

Not gonna lie bro I'm always jealous when you post up pics. I see your in Valdosta. I put in for moody AFB from over here in Guam. Was really hoping for it but got denied and headed to Arizona. Kinda bummed out. But I'm going to try again after i get to AZ. That area looks awesome for bass fishing. Nothing but water in and around the base.

It really is great around here I'm blessed to live here... My dad actually works at moody Air Force base when he isn't working at the police department, the base on the lake is pretty nice too! Plenty of productive waters around here... Lived here all my life and couldn't imagine growing up anywhere else. Sorry about you getting denied, I hope everything works out for the best!

Red eye shad was the ticket yesterday! Ripping it out of weeds in about 8-10 fow

Ya i saw the base had a lake i believe is 200 acres. I was really wanting it after seeing that and some of the bass that come outta there.

Love the hat.

I'd be frogging if I was fishing that water!
