I do not make the skirts.  They are made by Getbitlures.com.  Skirts need to be injected due to their shape.  They have awesome action.

If it fishes as good as it looks, you do well on it!!

hey WCCT nice looking bait. I was on the getbitlures.com website and saw the classic frog i was wondering if you have tried them. they are a little pricy but looks like they be pretty good.

Awesome bait.  I've never tried a Fat Ika yet, or anything like what you made, so how do you rig it?  Thanks

The most popular way to rig this bait is skirt up with a 4/0 EWG hook.  In other words, insert the hook through the top of the bait with the skirt on it and rig it texas style.  Fish it with no weght, as the bait itself ways quite a bit.  You can basically fish it like a senko, just cast it out and let it sink on slack line.  The bait will glide away from you so the slack line is good to have so the bait can fall freely.  Once it hits bottom, I like to give it a little snap up and let it fall again.  Work it back to the  boat this way and you can kill the fish on these.
