Chrome and I'm clueless on how to clean the cache on the phone

I don't use chrome on the phone, I use the standard browser and have no problems.  Not sure I know how to clear the cache either but I have found a phone reboot can do wonders.

Ok, I did a restart and it seems to be working. Thanks guys

Rebooting fixes many problems on Android phones. Every once in a while I will have an issue where I need to pull the battery to fix it but that is rare.

Mine will start consuming the battery for no apparent reason. A reboot will normally fix it.

Even better than a reboot is a factory reset.  It's very easy to do, the most time consuming part is reinstalling your apps and your music playlist, that needs to be done manually.  I do mine about every 6 months, it's like a new phone.  I do take screen shots of everything first and transfer to my pc, no guesswork in setting it back up the way I had it.

The problem with a factory reset is losing the data saved on apps.

I try to remember to reboot my Galaxy every few days.  It will occasionally have weird little hiccups if I don't.

Any data in your phone should be backed up beforehand, other than photo gallery, phone and email contacts, map locations and music, don't know what else I'd be saving.  Good preparation makes the task at hand much easier, Google does a lot of this for you like your internet bookmarks.

I wouldn't consider re formatting my home PC without backing it up first, same goes for my phone, it's a computer too.
