There are traditional ways to rig plastics like Texas, Carolina, & wacky, but do you ever rig it differently? I took this tube and rigged it backwards so that the tentacles look like wings or legs of a bug. Caught a small bass on the first cast. How do you rig things differently?

got this for a buck in a 15 pack, so i just thought id try this. Also my rod doesnt have a hook keeper, but i make sure i never put the hook on the inside of the eye, always on the arms.

I love fishing a backwards rigged tube, it seems like sometimes it's the only thing that can get bit.

Not sure how odd it is but wacky rigging a fluke bait has caught me some decent fish.  Emulates a dying fish on the fall.

Yup. When the fish are jumping, I like to burn it near the surface like a bee or spider is hitting the water.

It's a lot cheaper to attach of bait keeper to a rod than it is to replace an eyelet.

Fuji EZ Keeper II Use em on all my inshore rod setups.... And as far as a tube goes have even rigged some up with a 3x treble with a bullet weight inside and the line going through the middle, killer action on the fall, use em alot for saltwater...
