Went out this morning with Steve Johnson.  We ran down the east canal to the first pump station and started fishing east.  We had the canal to ourselves early, and covered about a mile of the canal.  Steve started catching right away and I kept playing with a new bait, until the pain was unbearable.  Then I switched back to a sticko and started an FSU comeback.  We caught fish on both banks and had several doubles.  I tried a wacky trick worm with little action, most bass were caught on Flukes and sticko's.   Game warden came bye and said others were having similar results today.

 

 

It was truly beautiful day, very relaxing and lots of bass.  We ended up with 70 bass and a big mudder, that destroyed my hook.  It was a Chamber of Commerce Day!

Shane great to see you back on here it has been way too long.   Looking forward to one of your Go Pro videos with those monster bass.  Everyone was catching good numbers the other day out there.  Good fishing Shane.
