what do you think of this spinning reel worth the $ any sug on reels in that price range? thanks.

    I like my Supreme XT so far.  Hasn't seen a lot of use yet as I prefer baitcast reels.  I'm sure many will suggest the Shimano Saros FA in the same price range or the Shimano Stradic FJ for a little more.

    I had a few problems with the screws that hold the bail in place coming out, but it is a very smooth, strong spinning reel.

    I have both. The patriarch is 35 size, and the xt is the 30 size. I like the xt better, I think because of the size the 35 just seems too big. For the money I would get the xt, I'm not sure that the patriarch is worth the extra cash

    I've had problems with the sideplate screws coming out of mine in the past but the one I have now hasn't had that problem yet.
