What are some of the better ponds/small lakes in my area ?    Thanks 

 

Nutting's has a lot of fish in it; I fish mostly the Route 3 side because of the ramp.  Anything from 1lbers all the way up to 6 or 7lbers.

 

There are a few places in Tewksbury, and the river in Lowell off of Woburn Street is ok.  Depends if you have a boat or not and what you consider your "area" distance wise.

  I like Nutting ...I have an Inflatable pontoon with a 40lb T/M so I tend to stay on mostly small lakes and ponds .....

I got a bigger boat so any recommendations for the north shore /merrimack valley with decent ramps would be appreciated .... 

New to the area moving from NH to MA. Getting a place on the Merrimack river in the Haverhill area. Was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction in terms of what areas of the river might be my best bet? No boat yet but I’m the market for one. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Been out a couple times behind my place and not even a bite. Should I not waste my time with the river and just stick to local lakes/ponds?
