We will be having a new Cabela's next year in Richmond, Virginia and I will be sure to sign up for the 5% discount.

The one in KC does a Hometown Hero's event every couple months. Fire, paramedics, police, and military all get 10-20 percent off their purchase, just show a valid work ID. I've taken advantage of it a few times.

I usually only go down there once a year. It's been about 6 months since I was there last and they did not have it in effect there at that time.

 

BTW, I hear that BPS is offering 10%!

Bps doesn't offer it on reels, also varies from store to store, I've had one tell me they only do it certain days of the month, some stores always honor it.
