But I will never know. Wouldn't want to risk losing them.

I don´t see any reason why they wouldn´t work, I think that it´s probable that they would work very well, being discountinued for so long they can have an action that bass are not used to see frequently.

How old are these?

They might be better used as Christmas ornaments.

They were made by a company called

"Electronic Units inc", in Dayton OH

Manufacture date 1946

They sold for $1.25. The price is printed on the end of the box.

Wow ! That's truly interesting...neat baits and quite a collectible, considering that time frame...

I have an antique lure collector's book at home.  I'll try to look these up.  (It won't, of course, say, if or how well they work).

i'm sure you know this but make sure you save the boxes.  Sometimes they are worth more than the lures themselves.

Yes, I have some boxes that I don't have lures for. Several Heddon boxes.

Those are cool... never saw anything like them.  I have some old spoons and lures I plan to put in a shadow box/frame and hang on the wall  someplace.  Those two would be neat to display in your man cave (if you have one!).

Tight lines,

Bob
