Looking for a good backpack for my tackle for this year's bank fishing.

I am interested in this one.

TW has their backpack on sale now.  Think it's about the $50 mark and looks really well put together in terms of storage.

One guy said it only lasted him a year, and that was fishing one day a week. I work swing shifts so I frequently hit a hole or two in the mornings I get off.. So usually more than one day a week.

Well BPS has a couple, but they are only available for backorder right now.  Finding a good tackle bag can be a pain, especially one that lasts .

It seems the choices are endless. I posted a link to a cheaper wild river bag, and all the more expensive one have great reviews.. One thing I need is one that won't hurt your back.. At a couple holes I fish I have to walk a pretty good distance to get to my favorite spots.

I just use a regular back pack and use plano boxes to hold most of my stuff. For the price of what some of these tackle bags go for you could get a really rugged backpack off of Amazon. I have a Black Hawk back pack my ex gave  me (Airforce gave to her) that I use that is tough as nails. They do cost but are made to last outdoors in any condition.

I have a waiste pack that fit 4 3600 boxes, had it 2 years, have sowed it up a couple times (30lb power pro) and still going since I can't find one like it again.  I'd use a backpack but the waiste pack lets me carry 3 rods hands free as I can shove 2 of them between the pack and my back and they are out of the way.  Oh, and OKUMA has on on TW as well for about $60.

I currently use a lands end single strap around the shoulder for my bank adventures. It just isn't very functional. I can fit three boxes of Plano(sorry don't know the size) organizers in it but it isn't very comfortable..... And dammit I need to. Justify a new bag to my wife.... Haha

Having been a bank beater for a long time, and having fished while standing in the river more often than not before my kayak I highly recommend a sling-style pack if you can deal with that style of carry.  You can flip it around and get at anything in the bag without actually taking it off or dumping all your stuff out  I find it very intuitive and easy to use and I really enjoy not having to put it down at all.  

 

 

I believe DSG has the Mossy Oak one I've been lusting for-  Looks like it's got it all unless you're trying to bring 40lbs of tackle or something.

Okuma backpack

Last year I got one of those spider wire back packs AK-Jax is talking about, it is starting its second season with no problems. I tend to over stuff it, but when its loaded just right its not bad. I have been looking at those sling style ones and tried a couple on at dicks last night and thought the abu Garcia one was the best. I don't know about yall but I don't care for the "rod holder" side strap its an accident waiting to happen.

Yea I have one and love it. Even keeps your drink cold for a good portion of a hot FL day

The tackle warehouse pack might not be the most well-made but I really like the layout.

The worm binders are a nice touch. Really great feature very handy for storing plastics. Especially at the $50 sale price I'd say go for the TW pack its hard to beat IMO.

I use a victorinanox or however you spell it van fit like 5-6 3700 boxs and all my soft plastics. Had 3 years not even a rip. And I used it for school for 2 years
