I don't remember what you suggested doing to the blade.

Bend the line eye a little bit back, that way the face will ride higher.

Slightly bend up the lower part of the wings to make them face upward a little bit

Slightly bend inwards the wings after bending them up.

All the modifications are in a do and try basis, that´s why they have to be done a little at a time, when at a very slow reeling speed you are able to listen a strong gurgling sound is when you can consider the modification complete.

Unfortunately I´m an idiot when it comes to film videos and uploading them to the net that´s why I haven´t done it to show how it´s done and how it sounds.

Well...I have a small project to attack tonight!  Thanks, Raul!

I have not made a cast with a jitterbug in years, but I need to throw that the next time out, I used to love that lure but I somehow forgot about it and only think of it as a night time lure and looking forward to using it again. I noticed a few new lures coming out from Japan with the Jitterbug and crazy crawler style, and it always was a lure that seemed to get steady action with good sized fish as well.

I like that idea of making it louder, I will try that out, thanks.
