Super User F14A-B Posted December 17, 2014 Super User Share Posted December 17, 2014 Yea, thanks, but no thanks.. I would be much happier and enjoy myself better I believe if I were to go to Mexico, but for me, Florida is plenty good enough...

Super User BassinLou Posted July 14, 2015 Super User Share Posted July 14, 2015 A buddy of mine recently showed a pic of a couple of his family members fishing in a river out by country side in Cuba. They had some beautiful bass on that stringer. They live with a different set of rules down there, so you know where those bass were headed. steverowbotham
I did a day trip for some largemouth in Cuba about 12 years ago. The "guide" wasnt so in tune with the fish I dont think, but we made some adjustments and caught a good number of fish. Most were 1 - 2.5 lbs. My old man lost one in the 6 - 7 pound range. It was a cool experience, flipping flooded mangroves that we certainly dont have in Canada. I have a lot of areas much higher on my list that I would rather visit.
