While I do like the Dream Shot, I agree, it catches me a lot of smaller fish. Stepping up to a Baby Craw (usually Pearl or Blue Craw) or a Cut'R (bite off an inch or 2), nose hooked, gets my bigger fish.

BPS worms, Zoom trick worms..really there is no limit.

How does he rig them?

I use a lot depending on the situation but here are my standard DS baits.  Powerbait Power Minnow, Havoc Bottom Hopper, Zoom Finesse Worms, BPS Plastic worms(can't remember off the top of my head what they were called, worked well this year),

This is very similar to the sniper bolts I used to fish, the tip is much appreciated. Also close in design to the lake fork ring fry worms.

Red Craw, Oxblood w/Red Flake, Morning Dawn, and Punkin Punisher are my favorite Robo worms.  Nose hooked most of the time.  If you play it safe you lose the timid nibbling fish.  I loose a bunch of hooks by getting hung up in structure but when it gets a nibble the fish is hooked.

That's my go-to! Works on smallies and largemouth with equal efficiency. 

Strike King Dream Shot, Mag Dream Shot, and Baby Rodent along with the Missile Baits Fuse have been my top producers for smallies on a DS.

Im going to drop shot more this year and try different plastics but one that has caught me some nice fish is the jackal I shad on a 1\0 offset worm hook.
