I have both and im not sure which to spool. Does the 50 lb line cast a lot farther or does it not really make a difference?

The 50 will cast slightly further, but not enough that you're going to be amazed or anything. You're looking at a few feet at most.

Are the braids the same thing?

Or are you talking a 50lb spool of bailer twine guide slicer braid and a 65lb spool of super slick

I think everyone covered it. 

Just use the 60#. It cuts weeds better. IF you need to.
