Where To See A Variety Of 10-12' Fishing Boats Near Kennesaw, Ga

Featured Replies

I'm in Kennesaw, GA and looking for a place to see a variety of 10-12' fishing boats in person (Sun Dolphin Pro, Pelican Predator type boats).  I've been striking out with Cabelas, Dicks, Academy, West Marine and Bass Pro isn't very close.  Are there any other places I should be checking to see these type of boats in person?  Thanks!

I've used a variety of the 10' plastic boats. I just put an Uncle Buck's from BPS together at the start of the year and couldn't be more pleased. 55lb. thrust Endura, Sonar/DI, and 4" seat heigth extentions, very stable and I can easily load and unload by myself. Brian.

DirectBoats.com in Americus GA is a dealer for bass hunter and other small boats, I bought a bass hunter 10ex from them last spring and am very happy with it

Kayaks fit the bill - you should keep them in mind!  Much more affordable, no insurance, no property tax, no maintenance, no special trailers and your fishing equipment is less technique specific since you can get literally on top of the fish.  In other words, you don't need a 7'6" EX flipping rod.  A normal 7'0" MH/Fast rod works fine, because you can paddle right up on top of the fish if he gets hung up and grab him.  Not always possible in a jon boat when it comes to laydowns and other standing timber.
