Guide For Clear Lake In March

Featured Replies

Im going to be traveling up the coast in March and I want to hit clear lake for a couple days with a guide. Last year the guide I went with really only fished live bait and said it was popular that time of year. Needless to say I caught more fish from docks and shore then I did on his boat. I refused to fish with live bait, but still.

I am hoping someone here could recommend a guide for Clear Lake?

Excited to get back on this lake! Thanks.

John Perle, contact Clear lake outdoors. NO LIVE BAIT! March is either jigs, swim baits, or the "A: - rig.

Matt Allen!!

Matt Allen but if he is booked which could happen, try John Pearl!

Ross England at Clear lake guide service.

If your going multiple days I would go with Matt Allen and John Pearl. Both are really good at Clearlake. You will learn a ton. March should be huge bags. Get ready to average 5-7lbs a fish.
