Do you have a Panic Box??

That is Ike's box.  I have one of my own...sort of.  Here is the stuff in it:

1:  Finesse worms for shakey jigs

2:  4" U-tail worms for swimming worm jigs

3:  3" grubs and small jigheads

4:  3.5 and 4" spider grubs and nuckleball jigheads

5:  1/4, 5/16, and 3/8oz hair jigs in various colors

6:  4" stick worms

What is in your panic box or what do you reach for when the going gets tough??

I don't really have a panic box per se, but i will go with shakey head, Senko, Mepps in-line or original Rapala when the going gets really tough.

5" senko (green pumpkin or watermelon red)

7" Power Bait worm

I don't actually have a panic box but in years past, my desperation move was go to a rapala CD-7 silver & black or a little trick worm on a spinning rod, in one of the clearish colors.

This past year, it's been more of a bow my chest up response....   saying screw it and pulling out the swimbait or the lunkerlure buzzbait.  I figure since I don't have a check riding on it anymore, why not throw something I enjoy using.  The buzzbait paid off in a bunch of freak ways, the swimbait less often but it sure was sweet to break a bad day with a big fish.

Probably not the response you were looking for but sometimes the best answer to panic is to "take 5" and have a cold beer.  A bad day is as often mental as it is physical.   :)

beetle spin or a jig with a white grub "who says" a 5 inch bass isnt a bass anyway???

4 rainbow trout Lunker City Fin-S Fish

4 alewife Lunker City Fin-S Fish

Royal Coachman wet fly, tied with 6lb fluorocarbon 18 behind a silver original floating 4 Rapala (removing the back hook of the Rapala), and replacing the center hook of Rapala with a larger size red treble hook.

The following used only in tough times as I have a limited supply left:

3 purple Bobby Garland Hard Times Grub (no longer made)

3 pumpkinseed Bobby Garland Hard Times Grub (no longer made)

3 green Bobby Garland Hard Times Grub (no longer made).

(all used on a 1/8 Spider Slider head jig)

3/8 ounce and 1/2 ounce Reef Runner Cicadas in gold w/chartreuse foil.

Flechero, I like your style.

If I fished tournaments, I'd probably have to get one together. It makes some sense.

I do have a few go-to baits, but no formal organization of tough times gear.

Go-to baits:

#1 t-rigged tube with the weight inside.

#2 4" Senko

#3 Power worm on a jighead.

#4 my "secret" weapon, a bunny strip fly on a dropshot rig. ( if you tell anybody about this, I'll have to kill ya )

Cheers,

GK

i dont have a box specifically but i do make sure i have a few things that i consider panic lures.

4" senkos

grubs on a jighead

small willowleaf spinnerbaits

basically if they wont eat a senko or a grub im in trouble.

I don't have an actual box, but I make sure I have these lures at all times, no matter the conditions:

Mepps Fury #3 or 4 Red, Rebel Crawdad matt firetiger, Trick worm style Yellow/Black Fleck & White/Black Fleck 7 inch floating worm(don't remember the manufacturer, but I bought about 15 bags of this 'spongy' bait before they went out of business), Matt Chartreuse Bagley Fat Cat 0-2 foot diver and 0-5 foot diver, Johnson Spoon Nickle Finish no trailer, Sluggo Assortment of sizes and colors, Rapala Countdown in a basslike photo finish that they discontinued a few years ago - I have 3 left.
