For those of you interested in cleaning your cork and don't know how well Mr Clean Magic Eraser does.

I've seen the stuff destroy ink in slacks.

Those things work amazing. I bought a used Compre offline and had never cleaned the cork. I saw a while back a post on using Magic Erasers. Went and bought some, now that cork looks new. Looks great.

Melamine sponges are cheaper and get the same result.

Magic erasers are #1

There are generic brands too, but the idea of a mild detergent with just enough abrasive to clean without altering shape is the main idea. 

Yeah. ..the generics work just as well, but I find they don't last as long. So its give and take.

Love these for cleaning cork. Just be sure to seal them with some cork sealer like U40 after they dry. If not it leaves them with a dry feeling. Nice before and after for those interested.
