I prefer to use my 'yak on the 'doah. Everything I have read has said fishkill-fishkill-fishkill, apparently the smallies were hit really hard last winter so I haven't fished it.

well i went up to the spot i am thinking of last summer and did quite well....the fish are there for sure.  And the fish kills aren't really winter related, they believe them to be related to agricultural runoff.
