Grassmaster Weed Jigs

Featured Replies

The lakes I fish are full of milfoil, cabbage and pads so I just picked up some All-Terrain Tackle "Grassmaster Weed Jigs." 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ounce sizes.

Anybody used these? Suggestions?

I have some 1oz that i tried a little last season, no luck but they seem to work well, just didnt have the faith

I used them for a year, they worked fine but were not readily available.

I use them here in MN quite often, and so far, in my limited testing, they seem to come through grass better than other jigs I've fished.

A guy I know uses them, but was always complaining about several things with them........price, durability, availability, etc....I gave him some of my Boss "invader" jigs. Now I have to beat him off with a stick and keep my eyes on my jig box in the parking lot after tournaments LOL.

i bought a couple 3/4 and 1 oz ones last year for dipping lily pads and they were great the only problem i had was the rattle was at the back so it constantly caught grass but other than that there great jigs for the price

I have a few and they work. They are basically just fixed punch skirt.

The rattle is on the bottom front of the ones I bought and seem to blend in pretty well with the silhouette of the jig. Maybe that was to address the problem you mentioned.

I have used these jigs for the last few years and have no complaints. They come threw the weeds good, have a half way decent hook and are pretty durable. I am sure there are better grass jigs out there but for the price there pretty good jigs, best in All Terrains  line up IMO.

My local Gander Mtn has a boatload of them and they are only $2.49. Not a bad price compared to other brands.

One of my favorite jigs and readily available here in MN. They get through weeds better than any jig I've used and are very affordable at $2.50-2.99 most places.
