Rochester Ny Area Fisherman

Featured Replies

Just wondering if there are any fisherman from rochester NY in here that might want to link up and fish this spring/summer/fall. I have a boat and live on Irondequoit Bay and just looking for a fishing partner or just someone to share spots with outside of a boat in rochester NY.

I am from down in wyoming county, I fish Silver and Conesus a ton during the season. I run a small open tournament team trail on both lakes, look us up on facebook..it's Silver Lake Bass Anglers. If you ever want to poke around on either lake, I'm always game.

Sounds good I use to have a cottage on conesus lake when I was a kid but haven't fished it in 10/12 years.  I have also never been to silver lake. Im game to fished either of them with you if you would be down to show me the ropes on those lakes so if I ever take my boat down I know what the hell im doing!

I'm about 30-45 min from Rochester in Holley we have a good lake out here at the end of the parkway in waterport. Lake Alice it's under 20+" of ice right now but its a awesome smallmouth and largemouth fishery they also started stocking it with walleye last year. I fish it a lot from the kayak. Always down to show people around the lake just takes me a bit to paddle lol

Another local, here.  Would love to get together with other locals.  I have my boat on Conesus.  I've also fished from my kayak around a bit on Irondequoit Bay, but only had limited success.  Would love to try it from a boat.

I did some salmon fishing in Holley this past fall. Small world.

I am in the Holley(Clarendon) area too and would be interested in getting together and doing some fishing with local in the WNY area.

I live in palmyra. I'm always up around the city. I'm always up for fishing with new people.

Any local sweet spots I just moved out here from lyndonville in the fall. I got the hulburton quarry's in my back yard and canal across the street so I've got a few spots I can walk to for quick outings but don't know how well they are other then the canal I know sucks.

I've only been bass fishing for 2 years so I'm not the best source for sweet spots.  Locally I have fished Lake Alice (my avatar pic is from there) and the canal.  I fish the canal in my kayak and do ok with the smallmouth. They are usually smaller ones, but it is good exercise and beats watching TV.

Last year I joined a club so most fishing I did was hitting spots that I had to fish an upcoming tournament or my default lake Conesus.  Didn't do much close to Holley.
