new cranks

Featured Replies

Here is a new batch, nothing special just some flatsides and round baits to cover 4-15 feet.

Great looking baits Marty. No luck this past weekend. Post-frontal with a lot of rain made the water very muddy. I'll try again the next couple of weekends. You'll have some pics soon  :)

nothing special

Yeah - just tell that to the fish they're going to fool, Marty.   :)

Here is a new blue gill and re-paint of an old husky jerk.

Those are making my northeast eyes grow very large.  Nice work Big M.

Oh but h*ll yes.

Definatly can not wait to throw that gill.   8-)   The girls are moving up to meet with the bucks down in the test pond right now. Been watching the bucks run the gills from the shallows for the last 3 hours this evening. Can't wait untill they feel the gill bite back.    :)

That old Husky Floater looks nice! :)  I like that round (4'er?) also.  My all time favorite crank is probably the #5 Rapala Fat Rap and that one looks kinda close to it.

AJ, those baits are made from balsa wood.   The scales are painted with a piece of net stretched over the back of the bait.

I was really pleased with the yellow perch pattern on jerk bait.   That's only the 2nd time I've painted that pattern.   I think the bass down here will like that one too.

Absolutely amazing man. You definately have a skill. And any pointers you could toss my way would really be appreciated. I've been screwing around with pine but I can't get the smoothness you have. I don't have a paint gun or whatever you must use either. Definately interested in learining more. Those should definately land some bass!
